Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data KYRICH (Kyrich Library) collects when you visit this website or buy from us, why we collect it and how you can control it. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. Who is responsible for your data

KYRICH, a sole proprietorship of Momyaz Quaderi, trading as Kyrich Library, is the data fiduciary for the data described here. Our address is Brigade Northridge, Kogilu Main Road, Yelahanka, Bangalore, Karnataka 560064, India. You can reach us at hello@kyrich.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Order details you give us: your name, email address and mobile number entered at checkout.
  • Payment status: your order ID, amount, date and whether the payment succeeded, as reported to us by Cashfree Payments.
  • Support messages: anything you send us by email or phone when you ask for help.
  • Usage data: basic technical data such as browser type, device, pages viewed and actions taken on the site, collected through cookies and the Meta pixel.

Your card, bank and UPI details are entered on Cashfree's secure checkout and handled by Cashfree. We never see or store them.

3. Why we use it

  • to process your order and email you your access links;
  • to send order updates and reply to support requests;
  • to handle refunds, complaints and our legal and accounting duties;
  • to measure how our ads and website perform;
  • to send you news about our products, only if you have agreed, and with an unsubscribe link in every email.

4. Legal basis and consent

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we process your data with your consent, which you give when you enter your details and place an order, and for legitimate uses allowed by law, such as completing the purchase you asked for and keeping records the law requires. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing done before, and we may still keep records the law requires us to keep.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share only what is needed with these service providers:

  • Cashfree Payments to process your payment and send your invoice;
  • our email delivery provider to send your access email and order updates;
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook) through the Meta pixel and the Meta Conversions API, to measure ad results and site visits. For a purchase we send Meta your email and phone number in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address, browser type, the ad that brought you (UTM tags and click ID) and the order value;
  • Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages people use;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, to stop automated bots at checkout;
  • Supabase, which stores order records on secure servers;
  • our website hosting provider, which stores and serves this website.

We may also share data when required by law, a court order or a government authority. Some providers may store data on servers outside India, with safeguards as allowed under Indian law.

6. Cookies and similar tools

We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your checkout progress and offers on this site, and the Meta pixel, which sets cookies to measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, but some checkout conveniences may be lost.

7. How long we keep it

  • Order and payment records: kept for as long as the law requires, for example up to 8 years for accounting records.
  • Support messages: kept while needed to help you and for our records.
  • Marketing data: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct or update data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data, except records the law requires us to keep;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • nominate another person to use these rights on your behalf;
  • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, email hello@kyrich.com from the email address you used to buy, with the subject "Privacy request". We reply within 48 hours and complete your request within 1 month.

9. Security

This website uses HTTPS encryption. Payments go through Cashfree's secure checkout. We limit access to your data to what is needed to run your order and support. No method of storage or transfer is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. Children

Our products are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us data without that consent, email us and we will delete it.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within 1 month of receiving it. Please include your order ID if your complaint is about an order.
